Blits.ai started with one conviction: enterprises deserve AI that actually works in production. We have been building it since 2018.
Millions spent. Little to show for it.
It was 2018. At a global consulting firm, Len Debets watched large enterprises spend millions on chatbots and walk away disappointed. The technology fell short of the hype. Companies were stuck with rigid systems that could not adapt to their needs.
Len saw something else. Experimenting with IBM Watson's API, he recognized what conversational AI could become. The way people work with computers was about to shift, from clicking buttons to natural conversation.

Then came Paul Coerkamp. A business strategist with a sharp eye for market opportunity, Paul saw the same potential Len did. Together they paired deep technical expertise with strategic business acumen.
Still at the consulting firm, they started building what would become Blits.ai. Late nights, countless experiments, and total conviction in the idea. They were architecting the future of enterprise AI.
The goal was ambitious: put Blits.ai on the international map and prove that conversational AI could be both powerful and practical for large organizations.
Going all in
The prototype worked. Major enterprises saw the potential. The first customers signed on and proved years of hard work and countless iterations right.
Len and Paul knew the vision needed their full commitment. In 2020, they made the leap: Blits.ai became a 100% independent startup.
Building a company from scratch is never easy. Every client project taught them something new. Every production deployment at major banks and international corporations sharpened their understanding of what enterprise grade really means.

The Corona challenge
2020 tested everyone. When the world went remote, demand for digital channels skyrocketed. We adapted fast and proved that conversational AI is essential infrastructure, not a nice to have.

Len is the technical architect behind Blits.ai. With over a decade of experience in AI and software engineering, he saw the potential of conversational AI before it went mainstream.
As CTO, Len built the Blits.ai platform from the ground up, with enterprise requirements at its core. His depth in machine learning, NLU, and AI security has been key to winning partnerships with major financial institutions and international corporations.
